Description
Astounding take by Joe Rubinstein on the Classic Silver Age Mystery in Space 90 cover by Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson.

Joe took the image from an inside book sketch by Carmine and made this an incredibly dynamic recreation of the original.

Joe was too young to have worked with Carmine in the Silver Age, although he might have worked with Carmine in the Bronze Age, but as you can clearly see the talents of the two combined creates magic.

Joe did this commission for me about 20 months ago and in a recent email gently reminded me I had yet to put it up on the CAF.... an oversight I am now more than happy to correct.

Enjoy!

Wow, very cool piece by Joe. Shows his versitility and how he coulda looked in the Silver Age.

The action here is a little softer than the original, and I kind of like that. Also love the detailed rendering of Adam's face. Is that Infantino sketch reprinted in any books? If so, which?
