Mighty Crusaders #4 Original Cover and Reinterpretations

The cover to Mighty Crusaders, issue 4 is one of my favorite covers of all time, 'Too Many Heroes'.... so much potential. So when I started collecting art I thought it might be nice to see other artists do their take on one of my five favorite covers. One way of changing this powerful Paul Reinman cover is my insistence on reverting the Comet’s 60’s uniform back to the original far superior 40’s uniform. I have also suggested replacing the Spider and the Fly simply because I don’t care for them and this allows me to get other MLJ characters into the mix. I’ve had varied success and hope as times goes on and I do more of these reinterpretations that the artists will use Reinman’s cover as a springboard to how they would have presented this image. It is a long range project but enjoyable for me, I hope you also.
