Stan and Jack created Marvel's First Family. As a kid once I moved from being an ardent DC fan,, to a sometimes Marvel reader, to a full fledged M.M.M.S.er. I loved the adventures of Reed, Ben, Johnny and Sue. The joy of the book was seeing the evolution of Jack's work assisted by different inkers. Bell/Russos, Reinman, Colletta Wood, Sinnott and of course Chic Stone. When I had the opportunity to pick up these Fantastic Four pages by Ed Hannigan and Chic Stone, I was thrilled to see the wonderful work of Stone bringing the FF back to life as I knew it. In fact as you get into the book, especially in the pages numbered in the twenties and up, Chic seems to really get into the work. Some pages could even be covers or spashes showing off Chic's simple elegeence that aided Jack's transformation into the defining artists of the Marvel Age. I need to pick up some money to pay for my San Diego adventures, so I will take offers on a few of these pages which are 9x12 in size. As soon as I hit my mark, I'll stop selling them, so feel free to email me. If I can't move them on the list I will put some of them up on eBay.
