In the past Dan has worked for Marvel Comics and illustrated such characters as The Transformers, Indiana Jones, and the Incredible Hulk. More recently, he has a passion for painting. Dan is a master of blending colors and using them to create fluid and vibrant backgrounds and effects in his paintings. He is also very good at coming up with unique concepts that allow a single painting to tell a story. One of my favorite examples of this features the flash being transformed into a turtle.
Earlier this year Dan moved to South Florida and since that time I have had the opportunity to see him frequently at Phil's Comic Shoppe. Since arriving he has done several commissions for customers of the Shoppe. Multiple examples of his recent paintings are on display there at any given time.
