Jim Starlin

To me Jim Starlin was one of the first major changes in the Marvel Bullpen in the early seventies. He brought an excitement to the art we had not seen before and as he grew at Marvel his work just became more dynamic. I thought he did a great job on Captain Marvel and for the first time ever I think I truly enjoyed cosmic adventures, first with Mar-vell- and later with Warlock and other books Jim has drawn. I always wondered what he would do with Ditko's Captain Atom and was lucky enough to get him to do one for me. Now I'm wondering what he would do with Adam Strange? Maybe I'll get lucky twice. Time will tell? Until then, enjoy these Starlins!
