Jim Mooney

As a kid reading DC comics you never really knew who was drawing the stories that you sat back and enjoyed. At least the editors didn't help since very few allowed artists to put their names on the work (thanks Stan for changing that). But even as a child there were some artists I could recognize right away. One of them was Jim Mooney, when I first contacted Mr. Mooney about a commission I told him I could always recognize his work by the character's eyes. He has a special way of drawing them and so I always knew the guy who drew Supergirl, also drew Tommy Tomorrow and Dial H for Hero. On the other hand I had no clue he drew Batman for years as one of Kane's ghosts, but as soon as I discovered this fact there was a Batman Commission by Jim in my future.
