History of the West was a comic series of western genre created by Gino D'Antonio and published in Italy by Edizioni Araldo from June 1967 within the Rodeo Collection for a total of 73 albums ( during reprintingin the early 80s, the series was later expanded to reach 75 books. It is considered one of the best western comic series of the period and has consecrated its creator as one of the masters of Italian comicdome.
