I started collecting original art in 2009, wanting to own my favorite "moments" from my favorite stories both classic and modern. That big page or cover that we all remember from our favorite books, and some of those biggest moments are 1st appearances.
The debut of a new character can be exciting, intriguing, mysterious, and sometimes just down right bad-ass for the reader! The combination of original creation, art, design, story, and future or current fandom, is one of the pinnacles of original art for myself.
