So earlier this year I passed on getting a birthday art present since I have been taking a break from collecting for a variety of reasons.
At the time I told Amy let's just pool it with Christmas or next year's birthday so I can perhaps find a nice Silver Age page to purchase.
Then the Fall 2023 CAF art sale happened and while wistfully browsing through the offerings, I ran across an Alex Ross page featuring my favorite DC character (Green Arrow) and Amy's favorite character (Black Canary.)
We had a brief discussion and I made the offer to buy the page and I have a combination Christmas-Birthday Present.
