Baltimore 2006

First thing that comes to mind.... no Adam Hughes!!!! No Adam Hughes just threw the whole convention out of wack for me. I honestly didn't know who I was going to run to first... J.G. or Tony Harris. Turns out both were longshots and and I didn't walk away with either. Tony was lucky if he got 4 done the whole weekend. J.G. Jones discovered the hardship of painting 52 covers... having to sign 52 covers. All in all, it was an okay show. Got to hang out with some great guys. Was honored by an invite to Mike Fogg's (dude, I've been enjoying your BBQ pictures every year!), but my brother and I had tickets to the ball game (and we were beat). If I could tell Marc Nathan one thing... rope off the line!!!! You have people getting in line at 3:45am so they can get a sketch. Waiting in line has become an event in and of itself that I look forward to. It's bad enough you have people claiming to be 'dealers' or 'press', but you had at least 30 or 40 people standing outside the line, just waiting to stroll in. It's not right. It almost makes me want to right a couple of articles so I can earn a 'press' badge.
