Gregorio C. Coching (1892-1961) was a prolific pre-war [WW-2, I presume] novelist, illustrator, engraver, councilor, sculptor and the father of Francisco Coching. He [wrote] several award-winning novels ranking him among one of the greatest literary writers [of the Philippines] in the 30’s and 40’s. He is best known for his novels such as Sanggumay (1925) and Hara Siri (1950).
