You got this one?!? Man this was the money shot at this point in the series! Kudos for getting your hands on this piece. My advice: DON'T LET IT GO!!! This is Bags at his best!
Now why couldn't we have had scenes like THIS in that godawful movie?! This is great.
AMAZING! SCORE! That is one bombshell of a Schoolgirl Caitlin makes. The only complaint I have is the feet are a little too small. Other than that this is Scott at his best. Congrats on this commission. God knows how much you had to pay for the "Grail."
Skrull take "Embrace Change" and shove it! Beautiful perspective, Spidey looks great as always, and the backgrounds are awesome.
Cool take on her in her costume mode. The idea of her naturally disguising her eye color with her abilities gives her more anonymity. The lack of glasses or some kind of lens to hide one's ID in the daylight doesn't work.
Nice but uhm...they're cousins, dude! Sisterhood doesn't run THAT close on Themyscira...at least I hope.
I know it's a different artist but it resembles the first cover of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man by the late Mike Wieringo. Still awesome coloring job.
This is an awesome study. Though as a word of advice use a hi-res photo for reference and you'll get a lot more features to try and capture. Other than that it's a great work.
I love the layouts. Hate to sound cold but JJJ's been asking for it from Peter for years. He had EVERY right to lay it into that old blowhard and this sequence captures that moment in a realistic manner (which is more than I can say for the ending of ONE MORE DAY). Props for picking it up my friend.
Not bad. But to me it seems like you could've taken it from a different angle. With his throwing arm partially bent, it looks like Spidey's giving him a love tap. But if you were going for a realistic interpretation then it works. Good job!
This is awesome...but I still think you're trying to out-Bat me.
"RIP?" Dude with your pencils and inks Captain America LIVES!!
Good stuff. I notice you used Hugh Jackman's Wolverine as inspiration, esp with the positioning of the claws. X-23 is also very well done. Who are your creative influences?
Good sketch but I think you should've shortened the hair a little, y'know?
All I have to say is IT'S CLOBBERIN TIME! I love this Webs! Brilliant! The redesign of the costume, the cut of Ben, ALL of it works perfectly. Marvel should definitely take notes.
I see some Ron Frenz influence in this picture. Gret work Webs!
Awesome work. The Twelve Labors of Herakles was my essay topic last year in Mythology class at UTM. It's an excellent depiction and it even resembles Marvel Comics' design of Hercules facial wise. Is that what you were going for?
To quote from the family guy premiere "YYYEEAAAAHHHH! That's how we do it in MY Neighborhood BITCH!!!!" You really captured the savage, brutal lesson Peter delivers to Fisk. As a tip, try sketching some of the inmates; it adds to the humiliation of the almighty Kingpin at the hands of one lone man. Other than that it's incredible and you've inspired me to do something similar. Look for it soon.
As always you dazzle the public with fantastic thumbnails, Webs! Is this inspired by a Jim Lee Batman cover from the Hush storyline? And as for Tim's costume, it looks like an amalgam of his current suit and classic costume, what with the tapered cape and short sleeves with those rib things on the sides (what the hell are those anyway?!) Great work and DEFINITELY do a good copy.
Nice work Vince but you've got it all wrong! It looks like Superman just broke Hulk's neck. Big Blue does not kill!!!
I'm sure all three guys are thinking the same thing: Oh Hell no! Awesome work as always, Spidey.
Hm. That's the second tub of lard that Spidey's handed his ass to this week. Lol. GOOD JOB, WEBS! And yeah I read that issue; for the first time Kingpin was bitch-slapped into submission before his peers and has lost face. This is probably Spider-Man's best victory over that fat bastard. Anyway enough about that comic; this sketch is incredible Webs. As a request I'd really like to see you try Spider-Man vs. The Lizard.
Good composition, but the eyes on Bizarro make him look like Lobo with a spitcurl.
Well someone's got a horseshoe rammed up their ass. This is gold, man. Alex Ross is the new king of comics in my opinion. I have to know how much you're charging for a buyer.
"will do better"? Webs you did this at lunch. It takes me at least a few hours to do something like this.
