The right thumb looks a little wonky and almost gives you the illusion it's on the wrong side of the hand but if you focus on the perspective of that thumb you'll see it points the correct direction. Flawless piece. I'm a much bigger fan of the fluidity of Adam's con sketches than anything else he does. They have a raw kind of character that is difficult to achieve. As an artist I respect what he does. Kudos for having the privelage of taking one home.

I always laugh when I look at this one. I think you should do an updated one. I want a collection of Han and Fett picnic with Ewoks pieces.

Thanks! Don't be fooled! I only have fun doing portraits on the sketch cards. Working from photos that small is way easy for me. Now, trying to do everything I want with a superhero on a sketch card? THAT has me ripping out my hair!

An intense, emotional piece of work. He is standing still but he is still moving somehow. There is a beauty in this world that is strictly male. It is a power of stance. A connection of bone and sinew and muscle that no woman's body can mimic. This is captured here. I love it. Perhaps one day I can be this skilled.
