13 years later and still loving this page Kevin - please keep me in mind when the time comes :) Thanks again!
"in Canada"? Doesn't Byrne live in northeast US? I don't think Byrne has lived in Canada for decades. Congrats on the signatures.
11 years since my first comment on this page and my opinion hasn't changed - still love it! Jeff, just a friendly reminder to please give me the heads up first when the time comes....thanks again.
Wow, nice job by Bob! I believe Perez and Layton also worked together on the cover to X-men #112
Hi Fabrice, great page! Please let me know when you are open to hearing a strong offer on this page as I would have interest. Thanks, Mike
I'm glad this worked out for you - happy to help! :)
6 years since my first comment on this piece and it is still likely my favourite piece here on CAF. Congrats again Michael!
Still loving this page Patrick - please let me know when/if you'd be ready to part with it. Thanks.
Great piece Dino - huge congratulations! I loved this book as a kid and the cover in particular was always a fave. Just my opinion, but while this cover was attributed to "Neal Adams Studio", I would wager this is 100% Giordano. Yes, some of the faces and poses look Adams-esque, but this was typical for Giordano at this time. Either way, again it is a great piece.
Hello again, just thought I would leave my interest here as well. Please let me know first when/if the time comes on this page. Thanks again!
Great page, congrats. You seem to have snagged all the available nice vintage Byrne pieces via dealer and auction over the past 18 months. Hoping you are ready for a breather to give some other guys a chance? Just asking for a friend lol
Guerin, not sure if you are getting my messages or not? I would love an opportunity to chat with you about this page. Please let me know. Thanks.
Wow, that is impressive Ray. Chris showed great artistic judgement on this recreation. Would love to know where the original is...for me, this is a top three cover for Neal for sure.
Congrats, a great page indeed! You and your under-bidder set the pricing bar high on this one, as every other dealer or collector sitting on Crisis pages now licks their chops lol.
So only 15 left now? Wow, congrats Chris and very nice strip!
Killer page Rob, congrats. I used to own this page, nice to see you got the water-damaged ink-lines restored. Looks great.
Great piece Michael, congrats! I had a feeling this piece would end up with you. Hard to beat vintage peak George.
This sequence looks familiar! Congrats on scooping these up Chris, I sincerely believe these are two nicest Lance Hallam CD's. Just masterful work by Wright.
Absolutely incredible Will! My fave JLA arc and a killer cover!
Congrats Chris! Classic story + absolute peak Aparo = great pick-up!!!
Wow Nick, you are absolutely insatiable these days with the comic art! Congrats on this one - I love this cover!
Nice work Scott! I feel compelled to try and find a Neal Adams-esque "Hey A Steranko Effect" within the flames lol!
These pages are incredible Ron - big congrats! I used to own Byrne's version of this exact page from Cap255 and it is amazing to see how reverent he was to what Kirby had done here.
Congrats Gene! I know how long you were looking and your search has paid off big-time!!!
My pleasure Kirk! I knew this page would find the perfect home in your collection. I am biased of course but I really do believe this was the best work Byrne and Austin ever did together and this page comes from the best sequence from that work imo. Enjoy it!!!
Hey Max, I'm still here waiting to buy this back from you whenever you are ready :) Thanks.
Incredible piece buddy! Really happy you landed a McSpidey piece that gave you that "gut punch" you had been waiting for. Enjoy it!
Awesome! Congrats Gene on snagging yet another page from this great issue.
Nice work buddy! Super page and super rare - great pick-up.
Love this page, love this issue. Great score Nick!
Nice one buddy! I used to own this one and sold it like an idiot...
This is just great, love this one. Nice work once again Joe!
This piece is so unbelievable that it really deserves to have at least 100 comments so I decided to leave another comment. I thought my jealousy would have abated by now but alas it has not.....congrats again Michael!
It is a stellar page Maicol, enjoy it! Looks great in your collection, congrats!!!
A spectacular example, congrats Jim!!! I look forward to adding a Foster PV to my collection as well some day.
Having seen this page in person, I have to say that it is absolutely incredible in terms of the attention detail and precision of work. Congrats Jim, I know how much this page means to you.
Simply incredible cover and killer score Joe! Best from that run for sure imo. Congrats!
Killer page Dino! Of course I am biased but objectively it is best of the best - congrats!
If I could only own one Alpha Flight page....unreal.
Wow, what a rush of nostalgia Nick - thanks for posting these pages, HUGE congrats.
Great page Martin! I love Stone's inks on this one. Super pick-up, congrats!
That's a great one Daren, congrats. While the last panel is obviously killer, the third panel always draws my eye. Buscema and Palmer were untouchable for these first three issues together.
A great page from a classic issue. I am completely biased and this is just one man's opinion, but I really do believe this was Neal at his peak. Congrats Roger!
Congrats Gene! Great cover and lots of nostalgia for me as well on this one.
Absolutely unbelievable Michael! I bought this poster back in 1983 as well and had it on my wall for years and to this day is probably my favourite - and in my opinion, the best - NTT piece that George ever did. I am very happy for you as this definitely belongs in your collection, despite the fact that I am insanely jealous of you at this moment :)
As usual, you have great taste Tom. I was sooooooooo close to pulling the trigger on this at more than a few points and seeing it now in your gallery I obviously made a mistake not doing so. Congrats buddy, super addition!
Wow....5 pages from such a classic issue and a real high-point in Neal's career, congrats Chris - great work!!!
