This looks like a character concept I had discussed with Alfonso many years ago! Sadly, the project never took off, but this stopped me dead in my tracks when I saw it! Please let me know if you ever decide to sell. I would love to add it to my collection.

BINGO! Apparently, Wizards of the Coast have very stringent requirements about not showing ANY cleavage of any kind in their artwork. So, the little bit of extra armor was added digitally to cover her up a tiny bit more. :)

Fantastic example of Frazetta's quick-hand sketch capabilities. Up close, the lines are just quick gestures, but from afar they make a completely finished piece capturing the energy of this viking as he is about to stride off the page. Wonderful find!

He did, but it was hidden away in a suitcase. I actually purchased it from him several months prior, but when he told me he was coming to IX again, I had him bring it so I could pick it up directly and not have to deal with shipping.
