This is fantastic. I love Pogany and this book in particular. I keep extra copies and whenever someone I know has a child I include it in the gifts as it was my favorite books as a kid. Wonderful to finally see an original from this book.
Love the Buscema but Sinnott Inks??? That's the BEST! It ain't FF without Sinnott inks!
Congrats Doug. I'm not familiar with the run but this is an impressive, atmospheric piece. Merry Christmas.
Very nice! Would make Franklin Booth proud. Would probably make him blush too. Different sensibilities back then.
Nice page Miki! Loved that stuff. Glad it belongs to a real fan.
Amazing story, congratulations on not only an original but an original that means something to you.
I'm glad you're happy with it and still have it after all these years. It is a pretty nice DPS!
Always loved Johnny Comet. Be careful though, they can be addictive and harmful to your wallet!
Congrats on the Kelley Jones! Nice kitty
Very nicely done piece.
Great piece. Much nicer than many of the other incentive sketches for that project. Well worth the wait.
Congratulations on a great piece. An authentic Wally Wood inked Sky Masters unlike so many others that are mistakenly attributed to Wally Wood.
Hey Steve, long time no hear! You don't poke your head out often but when you do it's with an awesome piece. Congratulations!
Love this series. As for the ink, I have several pages from issue one all with the same condition problem. I think they were under a tight deadline and had to make up for lost time by using marker.
Amazing piece. He's very talented and I'm sure very appreciated! Congrats, now you can admire your Kirby art in style.
Congratulations, I know it's been a long time coming. Now does this scratch the itch for a Foster Val or does it just make you want another one??
That is a stellar piece of work by Michael, congratulations.
Raboy artwork on Flash Gordon is always a joy to look at. This is a nice example, congrats! Raboy Flashs are one of the few remaining bargains in the hobby.
I really love this kind of work. Modern comic art gets so far away from the classic illustration styles. Beautiful when the classical and modern are combined well.
Great panel. I love that Val would get that grim bloodlust look when he was in a fight.
That's a nice Toth cover! Some others from this period don't have his "feel". This one certainly does.
The Demon was cool as Kirby did him but the "inspiration" was Hal Foster's Prince Valiant from 1937. Look it up, you'd be surprised.
One of the nicest Williamson pieces I've seen. I'm surprised he didn't hold on to this one. Gorgeous.
This is the only Mignola Hellboy piece I've ever seen that's made me think "Wow, I would love to have that". Congratulations.
Congrats! Silver Surfer is a fantastic character the way Kirby, Buscema and Lee did him. If you're going to deviate from what you normally collect, this is a good piece to get.
That's a lot of lovely art for only 4 panels and a great layout. Plus you get the nice FULL signature. Very nice find.
Beautiful piece. I would love an example of this quality.
A really nice one. My favorite thing about it is the Narcissus reference. Actually, there's a K in Narcissus in the original Greek. Granted, not 3 "K"s but I wonder if Herriman knowing that the name is spelled Narkissos in Greek lead him to that spelling or maybe even the whole idea for that particular Sunday.
I'm not usually a fan of Hempel's work but this is a very good Sandman page!
Thank you for showing this remarkable piece. You can just get lost in the details. Sheer beauty. You're one lucky guy to have this in your collection.
Great cover! Nice to see in person. As a fellow Titans fan I certainly appreciate it.
Wonderful example Dave, a real beauty. Congrats.
Absolutely stunning. A terrific piece. Congratulations.
Great page! I've always loved this story. Congrats on finding a nice example. It figures an artist would find and appreciate a hidden gem like this.
Great buy there Rob. Don't know what I was thinking hesitating on this. Congrats!
I like it better than the prelim to the published version! NIce one.
That's a damned fine piece of art there Ray, congrats. Pretty eerie too considering how Raymond died.
Terrific piece! A beauty and far better than most of the ones you see done today.
Absolutely gorgeous! I don't know how big the piece is but there's more artistic talent shown here than in most entire collections. Just wonderful, congrats.
