He is a fan. I hit him up for an Archer sketch from him ten years ago. Click the link for the full story.
Less than two years later, it's timely! I should hit up JK next time I see him.
I KNEW that was you! I saw Chaykin doing the sketch, I saw the Kirby reference, and my mind went right to you.
Nice pickup. What is the date on that? I know it's early Eighties, because the USFL was a thing.
It's funny . . . I got the same sketch from Joe Kelly at the same convention. Did he bellyache to you about not having artistic talent too? I know he's a writer, but he sketches well enough.
*slow clap* Here's a character that we're never going to see on the animated series. Great pick-up, Andread.
Yep. Hit the thumbnail above it. Hope you like the actual sketch.
That came out great, Brian. It's a pity England doesn't have as many mountains as the United States . . . otherwise, Tom Baker's visage would've gotten the Mt. Rushmore treatment years ago.
I saw Fred working on this. He told me that this was the first time he worked on Dex. I think it's funny that the two times of Dex-Starr sketches are either cute or scary, and there's no in-between.
I saw that sketch being worked on at the Big Apple Con, with a copy of Doctor Who Magazine with that Master on the cover (an issue I snagged myself from the back issue bin once). I should come to Dave more often, especially after getting this sketch of Chris Hemsworth as Thor from him. Nice pick-up, Ben!
Nice work from Buckler. I actually saw him sketching that at the show. Where did you get the reference?
What a coincidence . . . I got a Tangent Joker from Giarrusso a few years ago. Check it out: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=582653&GSub=90917
