Soooo good! Captures the feel of old comics so well.
Yeah, don't know. Looking at it, it doesn't look like either of them. What's funny is looking back at these Sick issues I was suprised just how much political satire is in them.
Freas foretold the future, one that is nearly here.
You're right: we don't see a lot of Amendola art. I found the three I have at a recent ComicLink auction, and snapped them up. I've been a huge fan ever since I read Night of the Stalker in Detective way back when.
Beautiful. I've always loved his pencil breakdowns. Congrats and Happy New Year!
Whoa now. You hit the jackpot with this one. Congrats.
Byrne just commented on his website that this is not him.

Me too. I just forgot to add his name. Getting old. ;-)
BTW you have a fantastic Hulk collection.
These Hidden Years pages look fantastic in black and white i.e. the origianl art. Palmer's inks add just thr right feel. Congrats.
Love this. Machlan's inks over Byrne were soooo good.
The original art pages look soooo much better than the printed book. The duo-shade really shines in its orginal form. Wish we could get an Artist's Edition of this.
GREAT page! I love the way the Sentinel goes through the truck!
I've long felt that Blood of the Demon contained some of Byrne's best art. This is a great page, and works well without lettering. Congrats!
Two great Captain America pages to add to you great Byrne gallery Rick! Congrats!
Thanks Marcus. I always love your comments on all the art on this site.
Interesting. I found the Next Men, especially the first 30 issues, to be amoung his best work.
Thank you so much Ruben! I had been wondering, and searching, for years who it was!
It's a fantastic page, made all the better by the duo-shade. For me, OMAC was a highpoint in Byrne's long, productive career. Congrats!
Looks spectacular in black and white. Nebres adds a sort of tone to the story. Congrats!
It's a great page. Gordon's inks work really well here. Like you, I was spoiled by Byrne inking himself (and that remains my preference) but this works.
