Striking. Interesting use of heavy, non-traditional colors and the negative space.
Great use of color and mood, but it's the face that does it for me. Beautiful!
Oh so nice... Congrats.
Man, you scored big time at Austin 2012! Michonne and this one, too? Congratulations.
When Frank gets inspired to go to that next level, it's magic. Congratulations on this splendid piece!
Perfect! Ranks as the best of the Fradon pieces I've seen.
Beautiful work by Matteo. Love the perspective, climbing the spiral staircase. Feels like there's a story to be told here...
Really lovely WW by Adam. I've suffered similar problems in sketchbooks. Nowadays, if anyone does a marker sketch in my book, I'll lay the book open to that page, place a wad of paper behind that page so the paper is exposed to air on both sides and that marker solvent can evaporate out.. Leave it like that until you can't smell the solvent anymore. May take a day or two. Then I insert thin tracing paper between that piece and adjacent pages. Been doing that for years and so far it's worked great. Just a thought: Inks by Karl Story, colors by Laura Martin for the save.
Not everyone does monochromatic particularly well. Joe is great at it. Nice one.
I'd rate this as one of Stephane's best yet. Congratulations!
Thanks, Mark. I thought Scott captured the look and feel of the character and the book's visuals and melded it with his own style just perfectly.
Congratulations! Beautiful Wrightson, Michael. I was fortunate enough to acquire a Swampy some years back and I know how you feel.
Only 8 comments on this unbelievable piece? Not if I have anything to say about it. Love this cover too much!
