Description
The Slaying of Glaurung by Darrell K Sweet.

A scene from the Silmarillion where Turin slays Glaurung.

Published in the 1982 JRR Tolkien Calendar from Ballantine. Also used on the back cover of Darrell K Sweet's art book. Formerly in the Frank collection.

28" x 26.5", Arcylic on Board.

I didn't plan on buying any more art any time soon...but how could I pass this up?
