This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Although we do not include every auction house in our service, you can discover much of the artwork at auction by searching in our comic art for sale database or follow any of the links below to visit each auction house and bid there.

Feast your eyes on the lovely ladies of Heritage's Pin-Up, Playboy, and Men's Magazine Art Showcase Auction which close next week. Glorious treasures are unveiled in the Heritage Signature Auction running now. The ComicLink Focused Auction offers over 750 works of art, with hundreds of artists represented. Heritage is going Hollywood with a new Entertainment Blockbuster auction full of movie poster art and other illustrations.

Heritage Men's Magazine Showcase Auction

The June 25th Pin-Up, Playboy, and Men's Magazine Art Showcase Auction celebrates the world of titillating and ribald illustration, with examples from Ben Denison, Patrick Nagel, Dan DeCarlo, Olivia De Berardinis, Gahan Wilson, Phil Interlandi, Jack Cole, Gennadiy Koufay, Eddie Chan, and more.

Heritage Signature Auction

Buck Rogers has an unwanted passenger on the epic Frazetta cover to Famous Funnies #214. J. Jonah Jameson has a new scheme to plague Spidey on the title splash of Amazing Spider-Man #25. Spaceman Spiff makes his first appearance in a 1985 Calvin and Hobbes Daily. Mysterio’s helmet reflects Spidey coming at him on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #311. Wolverine and Rogue team up for the first time in Uncanny X-Men #172. Jock’s epic cover depicting a flock of bats making the Joker’s face from Detective Comics #880. Wolverine and Rogue have been strung up the Magistrates on the cover of Uncanny X-Men #236. Wolverine takes a swing at Spidey in a graveyard on the cover of Spider-Man vs. Wolverine #1. Spider-Man battles the X-Men on the cover of Secret Wars #3. Nite Owl confronts Ozymandias in Watchmen #11. Bids close on June 29th.

ComicLINK Focused Auction

J. Scott Campbell provides some Lady Death Character Study Illustrations. Stunning image of Harley Quinn and the Joker on a variant cover fo Batman #100. Supergirl swoops in to save Batgirl in Detective Comics #508. A montage of Wonder Man’s history from Avengers #23. A modern day princess appears on a variant cover to Grimm Fairy Tales #55. Jim Wilson makes his first appearance in Incredible Hulk #131. The heroes are stymied by an interdimensional rift in Infinity Gauntlet #5. Elektra and Daredevil meet up on a rooftop in Elektra #12. Bruce Dern is alone in space with only robot companions in Silent Running. Jack Burton brings the Porkchop Express on the poster for Big Trouble in Little China. Elliot reaches out to touch fingertips with E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The volatile ecosystem of the planet Pyrrus attacks on the cover of The Deathworld Trilogy. The original designs for the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. Scarlett O'Hara's costume design sketches from Gone With the Wind. Bob Jenney's complete story from Frankenstein #1. Father of manga Osamu Tezuka sketches his most famous characters Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. Bids close on July 15-18.

Ending tonight on Heritage is a pair of Joe Madureira pages from Astonishing X-Men part of the epic Age of Apocalypse storyline.

The X-Men flee the mansion as aliens chasing Corsair tear through their home in a Dave Cockrum page from Uncanny X-Men #154 now available on eBay.
