This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Although we do not include every auction house in our service, you can discover much of the artwork at auction by searching in our comic art for sale database or follow any of the links below to visit each auction house and bid there.

They grow up and leave the nest so fast, this week marks the end of the Heritage Zits Showcase Auction. Hooray for Hollywood, celebrate Tinseltown with some bids in the Heritage Entertainment Blockbuster auction. Heritage Zits Showcase Auction

Over one hundred original strips from the newspaper comic Zits by Jim Borgman are now available for bidding on Heritage. Bids close on July 10th.

Heritage Entertainment Blockbuster Auction

Bob Peak's iconic painting of Brando as Col. Kurtz on the poster for Apocalypse Now. The original cover art for the first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Bruce Dern is alone in space with only robot companions in Silent Running. Jack Burton brings the Porkchop Express on the poster for Big Trouble in Little China. Elliot reaches out to touch fingertips with E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The volatile ecosystem of the planet Pyrrus attacks on the cover of The Deathworld Trilogy. The original designs for the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. Scarlett O'Hara's costume design sketches from Gone With the Wind. Bob Jenney's complete story from Frankenstein #1. Father of manga Osamu Tezuka sketches his most famous characters Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. Bids close on July 15-18.

Hake's Auction 244

The God of Thunder battles the Super-Skrull in a Thor #142. Luke and Han shoot down the Imperial TIE fighters chasing them in Star Wars #5. Luke and the gang board the Millennium Falcon to flee the Death Star in Star Wars #4. Imperial stormtroopers discover the Millennium Falcon at Docking Bay 94 in Star Wars #2. The FF is attacked by the Frightful Four including a brainwashed Thing in Fantastic Four #42. The circle is now complete as Obi-Wan faces his final duel with Darth Vader on the cover of Star Wars Weekly #8. Judge Dredd being blown from his Lawmaster motorcycle as an atomic bomb explodes in the background on the cover of 2000 AD Prog 197. A giant alien looms over Han who raises a lightsaber on the cover of Star Wars Weekly #20. Batman faces off against an Abominable Snowman on the cover of Detective Comics #522. A periscope spots the oncoming Namor on the cover of Sub-Mariner #11. Bids close on July 30th.

Ending tonight on Heritage is a John Buscema page from Fantastic Four #122 where the team is plummeting from the sky towards a carnival as the Silver Surfer and Human Torch race to save them.

eBay has a Chris Bachalo page from Amazing Spider-Man #14 in which Spidey has webbed up hooligans in a bar.
