This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Although we do not include every auction house in our service, you can discover much of the artwork at auction by searching in our comic art for sale database or follow any of the links below to visit each auction house and bid there.

Don't be lazy like a certain orange feline when the Heritage Garfield Showcase Auction ends in mere hours. Glory at the treasures which abound in next week's ComicLINK Summer Featured Auction. Highlights from the 700+ pieces in Heritage Signature Auction includes examples from the biggest names in the biz. Rejoice, for some of the finest original artwork is back in rotation from Comic Connect Event Auction 63. Heritage has added a new showcase of original pages from non-Big 2 titles in the Independent Invasion Modern Comic Art Showcase Auction.

Heritage Garfield Showcase Auction

The art of cartoonist Jim Davis and his world famous fat cat Garfield is back for another round of auctions of daily and Sunday strips. Bids close on August 28th.

Weapon X carves up a pile of soldiers in a splash from Marvel Comics Presents #81. Ka-Zar and Zabu are in the big city for a fight with Spidey on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #57. The Joker laughs as the shadow of the Bat appears in Batman: Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On Serious Earth. Hobbes pounces in a rare Calvin and Hobbes Daily. Roles are reversed in Frazetta’s King King parody from Eerie #81. The Invaders lead a maritime attack on the cover of Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #21. Swampy watches silently as Matt Cable and Abigail Arcane are transported by horse-drawn carriage toward a foreboding manor in a splash from Swamp Thing #4. Conan is caught in the coils of the man-serpent on the cover of Conan the Barbarian #7. Deadpool fights the new Weapon X in his 2nd appearance in X-Force #2. The Wrecking Crew are looking for a fight in Iron Fist #11. Silver Surfer is infected by the Carnage symbiote on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #431. Jim Starlin tells an epic space battle in Epic Illustrated #14. The Skrull Emperor reveals Mar-vell is working with the empire in Avengers #96. Phoenix and Meggan storm a magic castle to save Shadowcat in Excalibur #12. Scott Free, Shilo Norman, and the mysterious Peppi Lamoko appear on the title splash of Mister Miracle #17. Reuben Flagg spots an old friend while storming Havana in American Flagg! #5. The Ultimate Sports Force uses their baseball skills to defeat a kaiju in Shortstop Squad #1. Hot Rod offers the Matrix back to Optimus Prime in Transformers #21. Caitlin Fairchild's noticeable growth spurt after becoming Gen-active is pointed out in a Wildstorm Thunderbook #1 Prelim. Drift gets the spotlight on a variant cover by Casey Coller. A macabre twist on Gustav Klimt's The Kiss is homaged on a variant cover of Crossed Plus One Hundred #17. A drifting spacecraft is full of mutated outcasts from Earth in Harlan Ellison's Dream Corridor #2. Journalist Robert Block is hard at work in the New York Herald offices in the splash page of Providence #1. Bids close on September 18th.
