This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Although we do not include every auction house in our service, you can discover much of the artwork at auction by searching in our comic art for sale database or follow any of the links below to visit each auction house and bid there.

Auctions have been ordered with first priority given to event style auctions that are currently open for bidding. Ongoing and upcoming auctions are listed further down.

FEATURED LIVE AUCTIONS

It's the final countdown to bid in ComicLink's Summer Featured Auction as lots close tonight. Tomorrow the Heritage Signature auction finishes with top-tier grail items on the block. Less than two weeks remain in the ComicConnect event auction. Heritage has opened bidding on a trove of production cels from animated films and shows plus original pieces by the likes of Charles Schulz, Chuck Jones, Tim Burton, and more.

Cap beats up some thugs in the title splash of Captain America #101. Dinosaurs aren’t allowed at the dinner table in a rare Calvin and Hobbes. Iron Man appears in his Mark I armor in a page from Tales of Suspense #39. The Joker is dressed quite posh on the iconic cover of Batman #429. Dr. Strange is trapped by his arch-nemesis Baron Mordo in Strange Tales #117. A classic cover by Brian Bolland for Wonder Woman #63. The road is mined on a Harvey Kurtzman cover for Two-Fisted Tales #21. Morpheus confers with John Constantine in Sandman #3. Bidding closes on September 8th.

The New Warriors burst onto the scene on the cover of Thor #412. A blood crazed brute holds Dr. Mid-Nite hostage on the Washington Monument on the cover of Wonder Woman #235. Spidey debuts his new black costume in Amazing Spider-Man #252. Rogue borrows Storm’s power to stop a hurricane in Uncanny X-Men #185. The X-Men pose in a pinup by Mike Deodato Jr. Spidey gives some tourists a birds eye view of the city in Amazing Spider-Man #252. Galactus confronts Mephisto in a splash from Silver Surfer: Judgment Day. The Growing Man squares off with the God of Thunder in Thor #140. Batman faces off against Talon in a page from Batman #6. The Things remembers the FF’s 1st battle with Mole Man in Fantastic Four #126. Bidding closes on September 19th.

Art of Anime and Everything Cool Signature® Auction

Charlie Brown tries to help Lucy count all the stars in a 1954 Peanuts Sunday. Bugs Bunny gives Gossamer a rinse in a painting by Chuck Jones. Bugs Bunny and Honey Bunny canoodle on the couch in a painting by Chuck Jones. Greg & Tim Hildebrandt painted cards art for the 1994 Marvel Masterpieces series which include Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Gambit. Gertie, the animated dinosaur, goes through her motions in a drawing by animation pioneer Winsor McCay. An original sketch of Jack Skellington by director Tim Burton. Rogue becomes upset and lashes out in Uncanny X-Men #244. Jorlan the gorilla clobbers SUperman on the cover of Action Comics #505. Terry foils a purse snatcher in a 1935 Terry and the Pirates Daily. Spider-Man joins forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy in Marvel Team-Up #86. EMpty suits of armor attack in Spider-Woman #5. Mark Brooks provides a nice amalgam of Capt. America and Black Widow's costume on a variant cover to Black Widow #9. Huntress swings through the city in a page from The Huntress #9. Mr. Sinister reaches out from the cover of X-Man #19.
