This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Although we do not include every auction house in our service, you can discover much of the artwork at auction by searching in our comic art for sale database or follow any of the links below to visit each auction house and bid there.
Russ Cochran #214 auction is running now with lots of interesting pieces availbale for bids. Heritage's International Comic Art and Anime Signature® Auction #7273 is running strong with glorious artwork as far as the eye can see. A scant three weeks are left to get in bids for the ComicLink Focused Auction.
The latest event auction from Russ Cochran includes artwork by Jack Davis, Graham Ingels, Howard Chaykin, Kevin Maguire, Terry Beatty, Paul Gulacy, Sam Glanzman, Tim Truman, Gary Shipman, Dexter Taylor, and more. Bidding closes on Sept. 29th.
Batman digs up Jason Todd’s grave on the cover of Batman #617. Deathbird abducts the team to kill Prof X in a splash from Uncanny X-Men #274. Some thugs try to intimidate Rosrschach in prison in Watchmen #8. The FF fight the X-Men in Fantastic Four #28. Matt Murdock visits his Elektra’s grave in Elektra Lives Again. A full color page from Nikopol, Froid Équateur #3. A mad scientist finds a new subject for Experiment X in Silver Surfer #7. An archer shoots an arrow at an airship on the cover of Airtight Garage #3. Bids close on October 2nd.
The newly transformed Archangel and the X-Factor team battle Apocalypse's War in a page from X-Factor #25. DD hitches a ride on the roof of a truck in Daredevil #271. Spidey pursues the Green Goblin in Web of Spider-Man #67. Prof. Xavier and Psylocke discuss Betsy's recent body-switch with Revanche in X-Men #31. Jean Grey appears as Phoenix on a variant cover by J. Scott Campbell. Batman stands off against Bane in The Dark Knight #6. Tony Stark's descent into alcoholism begins in Iron Man #169. A regal Wonder Woman responds to the Bat-Signal on splash page from Batman #39. Arthur Adams illustrates one of the great Batman villains Poison Ivy. Black Canary defeats Doctor Destiny in front of her male colleagues in Justice League of America #154. Bids close on October 11th.

Also included in this week's lots are a great Iron Fist battle page by Mike Zeck and Ernie Chan, a beautiful Terry and the Pirates Sunday by Milton Caniff, a Mike Perkins Squirrel Girl illustration (because... Squirrel!), a Hardware #3 page by Denys Cowan and Jimmy Palmiotti, a Scarlet O'Neil strip from 1946 by Russell Stramm, this incredible page layout from Batman: Sword of Azrael #1 by Quesada and Nowlan, a Mage page from 1984 by Matt Wagner, and finally this humorous Yoda vs Darth Vader painting by David Michael Beck. A little bit for everyone's taste in this week's Heritage auction!
ebay has an incredible Captain America #248 page with Steve Rogers and Dragon Man. Fans of Spider-Man 2099 will be happy to see this great DPS by Rick Leonardi from 1993. A nice pencil sketch featuring Hellboy and Friends is also at auction by artist Mike Mignola. Another Cap page is also at auction by artist Steve Epting. If you're a fan of Linsner's Dawn there is also this great Dawn pinup by Joe!
