This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Although we do not include every auction house in our service, you can discover much of the artwork at auction by searching in our comic art for sale database or follow any of the links below to visit each auction house and bid there.

Auctions have been ordered with first priority given to event style auctions that are currently open for bidding. Ongoing and upcoming auctions are listed further down.

FEATURED LIVE AUCTIONS

The window to bid in the Ed Asner Family Center charity auction is quickly closing, do it for Lou Grant! Two days only are left to get your mitts on some treasures from the personal collection of noted writer Harlan Ellison. Heritage celebrates the LGBTQ+ community with a special auction which runs till next week. The fall ComicLink Focused Auction has opened its doors and is now accepting bids.

Inktoberfest for the Ed Asner Center Charity Auction

Heritage hosts a charity auction next week for the Ed Asner Family Center with contributions by such comics luminaries as Mike Mignola, Adam Hughes, Walt Simonson, Philip Tan, Gabriel Hardman, Bill Sienkiewicz, Lee Weeks, Aaron Kuder, Dan Jurgens, Barry Crain, and more. Bids close October 20th.

Heritage Ellison Signature

Dr. Manhattan begins to alienate Laurie in Watchmen #1. The Thing seems dead in Fantastic Four #70. Frank Miller illustrated the cover for Ellison’s novella Mefisto in Onyx. The late Richard Corben did the cover of Vic and Blood. MOre than one monster is on the moors in Swamp Thing #4. Steranko’s illustration for Dogfight on 101 from Amazing Stories V43 #3. Leo and Diane Dillon did the cover painting for Deathbird Stories. Dr. Strange and Ghost Rider appear on the cover of Marvel Comics Presents #102. Ed Emshwiller painted the cover of The Man With Nine Lives. Ken Steacy painted the cover of Spawn #2. Bids close on October 21st.

Coming Out in Comics Auction

Several of DC’s magical characters appear on the Wonder Woman Lifelines Back Cover. A painting of Batman by Jeffrey Catherine Jones. Harley Quinn appears on the variant cover for Green Arrow #47. Maggie, Doyle, and Vivian (aka "The Frogmouth") get saucy in Love and Rockets v2 #8. Catwoman loses her loot in a commission by Chris Samnee. America Chavez punches through reality on a variant cover by Joyce Chin. Iceman and Romeo go on a date in All-New X-Men #17. Psylocke is sketched by Arthur Adams. Spidey gets between Wolverine and Kitty Pryde during a fight in an illustration by Paul M. Smith. Phonogram #1 offers love letter to BritPop. Bids close October 27th.

ComicLink Focused Auction

Hand-painted color art for eight trading cards with Spider-Man, Daredevil, Venom, Carnage, Hobgoblin, Rhino, Demogoblin, Cardiac and Shock by Paul Mounts. Wonder Woman during World War II preparing to battle some Nazi thugs outside of the White House in a DPS by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez. Thanos sits upon his throne while in space, gloating that he's found his fourth of the six Infinity Gems in Thanos Quest #2. Highly sensual image of the fan-favorite 'Bad Girl' on the cover of Lady Death Killers #1. Galactus gives Morg the power cosmic in order to become his latest herald in Silver Surfer #70. The kids help dance instructor Stevie Hunter to find her stalker in New Mutants #4. Bob Layton, the essential Iron Man artist of the 1980s depicts the hero and his many suits of armor. Spider-Man fights Carnage in an illustration by Mark Bagley. Colossus looks to save some kidnapped kids in Marvel Comics Presents #15. The Shade and Brian Savage, AKA Scalphunter appear on the cover of Starman #54. Bids close on Nov. 15th.

Serafin hands Donnie Bergman a cosmic cartridge in Forever People #2. Trader Johnson’s souvenirs are left on the battlefield in Our Army at War #224. Dr. Doom reveals to Magneto his evil plan in Super-Villain Team-Up #14. Iron Man and Frankenstein's Monster are attacked by Dreadknight in Iron Man #102. The Warriors Three vow to find Bragi in Marvel Fanfare #13. Spitfire saves Torch as Cap and Bucky fight the villain in Invaders #11.
