Sales between August 14-20, 2023 saw 958 total auction results from our Market Data Search, selling for just over $421,268 US from last week's Heritage Wednesday weekly auction, the Vargas Specialty Auction, and eBay auctions - a $64,025 increase in sales from the prior period. Select results from ComicLink Summer Focused Auction have been included but are not combined with our sales reports.
Heritage sold 39 pieces of original artwork last week with sales totaling $95,864.50 and 24 exceeding $1,000.
"Kirby Krackles" burn from Galactus as his herald, the Silver Surfer, speeds past the Devourer of Worlds on a variant cover which topped Heritage's weekly auction.
eBay's bestseller was a What If cover by J. Scott Campbell featuring the Phoenix Force looming over the X-Men.
ComicLink dropped the final hammer on their Summer Focused Auction including a Catwoman page by JJ Birch.
