This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Doc Savage faces the ghost of an Indian chief on the cover of The Devil's Playground. A dame has been kidnapped by thugs on the cover of Private Detective Stories. A bathing beauty plays in the surf in a painting by Enoch Bolles. A Fellowship of adventurers unite in a painting by the Brothers Hildebrandt. Some costumed children light a jack o’lantern on a cover from the Saturday Evening Post. A nude woman poses by a tree in a painting by Hannes Bok. Bids close on November 15th.

Heritage The Windy City Collection Signature® Auction

Collector Gary Keller has put up his toys, games, and memorabilia in a Heritage Signature® auction including illustrations by Sam Petrucci, John Pound, Don Stivers, Norman Saunders, George Wilson, and more. Bids close on November 20 - 21.

Hake's Fall Premier Auction

A burned Wolverine screams atop a pile of bodies on the cover of Marvel Comics Presents #114. The Red Basher bursts through a concrete wall on the cover of Destroy!! #1. Punisher and Batman appear on the front of the wraparound cover for Hero Illustrated #14. Humpty Dumpty has taken his great fall in the fold in from Mad Magazine #222. Spidey is cornered by a man with a whip in a 1980 Amazing Spider-Man Daily. Spidey drops in on the Crime-Master on the variant cover of Spider-Man Master Plan #1. Kamandi and a group of humanoids escape their captors in Kamandi, The Last Boy On Earth #17. Kazumi is stabbed from behind in Tokyo Ghost #4. An unscrupulous doctor steals a ring from a patient in Crime Suspenstories #10. The heroic droids C-3PO and R2-D2 appear in a commission by Ernie Chan. Bids close on November 20th.

Heritage Comic Art Signature Auction

Deadpool makes his first appearance ever in New Mutants #98. Flash Thompson shoves Peter Parker around in the laboratory in Amazing Spider-Man #8. Tony Stark and Professor Yinsen begin with the chest piece of the Iron Man armor in Tales of Suspense #39. The team watches a news story about Dr. Doom in Fantastic Four #18. Hellboy stands amidst gothic imagery on the cover of Hellboy v4: The Right Hand of Doom. Cyclops ends a training session in X-Men #127. Cyclops carves Hulk from a block of ice in the title splash from Incredible Hulk #337.
