This week we have several comic art lots from several Auction Houses that are ending soon or being featured by CAF. Heritage Art of Garfield Showcase Auction

Another round of daily strips, Sunday strips, and illustrations by Jim Davis starring America’s favorite fat cat Garfield has landed at Heritage Auctions. Bids closes on February 6th.

ComicLink Focused Auction

Rogue and Dazzler must capture Psylocke in a training exercise in Uncanny X-Men #217. The Spaceknight teams up with Power Man and Iron Fist to storm the Baxter Building on the cover of ROM #23. Natali Sanders created a variant cover for Knight Terrors: Zatanna #1. Arantza Sestayo captures a portrait of the Princess of Mars Dejah Thoris. Thor charges into battle in an illustration by Walt Simonson. Six erotic illustrations of nubile cuties by Bruce Timm. Spidey battles the Green Goblin outside the Daily Bugle's building in a painting by John Watson. The Spaceknight battles the Mad Thinker's Awesome Android in Rom #14. Batgirl does the Batusi on a cover by Terry & Rachel Dodson. OAX guest Adam Hughes hits the jackpot with an illustration of MJ Watson. Bids closes on February 10th.

History in Pen & Ink: A Century of Cartoons & Illustrations Showcase Auction

Heritage has listed 315 examples of cartoon and illustrations from the past century and beyond. Highlights include pieces by Garth Williams, Thomas Nast, Lee F. Conrey, Robert James Day, Ty Mahon, John Dempsey, Gladys Parker, William Steig, John Held Jr, Robert Ripley, and more.
