DescriptionCheck out this very nice ALL PENCILED 1995 Batman page which was drawn by the late great Mike Parobeck, from the "Golden Book" story titled: "Batman and the Ninja!" In this story, Batman flies to Japan to help an old friend when a rogue ninja kidnaps a martial arts pupil. ALL pages from this story were drawn by Mike Parobeck on an 11.5 by 16.5 inch art board with 2 pages per art board. Just a great opportunity here to own this "PUBLISHED" ALL PENCILED, un-inked Batman page, drawn by the artist who sadly passed away way too soon in 1996! Mike Parobeck's artwork is HIGHLY sought after, even though he drew a very little overall body of work! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
