DescriptionCheck out this AWESOME published piece created by Gray Morrow featuring most of the 1970s TV Detectives Humor Magazine HUGE Illustration (mid-1970s). Kojak, Police Woman, Get Christie Love!, The Streets of San Francisco, McCloud, Ironside, Cannon, Hawaii 5-0, Adam-12, The Rookies, McMillan & Wife, Harry O, and the Rockford Files are among those expertly portrayed here. Oh, just one more thing: Columbo is hilarious here too as he discusses the accident with Rock Hudson. Ink and watercolor on illustration board. This piece has an image area of 24" x 16.5". There's wear at the corners and a 1.75" tear in the bottom edge of the board. |

It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
