DescriptionCheck out this very nice 1989 LARGE Pinup, which was drawn by the great Mike Kaluta! This Pinup features a nice large image of THE SHADOW holding a gun in his left hand while his right arm is wrapped around the sexy agent Margo Lane, who is holding a card in her hand! great backgrounds and cityscape behind the them. Art is drawn quite large on 14 by 17 inch vellum, and is signed / dated in 1989 at the bottom right! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
