Who better to draw the Sub-Mariner than the man who created the character three decades earlier? Bill Everett not only wrote but also penciled and inked this issue of Sub-Mariner as he battles Torg, the Arctic Abomination. Having created the Sub-Mariner in the Golden Age, Everett was phenomenal in the Bronze Age Drawing Subby, as this page clearly shows! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!!
