Check out this very nice INCREDIBLY DETAILED HULK cover! What's scarier than the Hulk? That's right- Vampire Hulk. Carlos Magno's homage to Gil Kane's cover to Tomb of Dracula #17 is much more than a simple character swap with Magno moving the action from the cramped interior of a train car to a scene of a massive derailment, much more appropriate for an assault by a vamped out Hulk! Magno's art is beautifully detailed which is apparent in both the initial pencils and the fully inked page which are both included here. Art cover was created first Pencils on paper, and final piece is ink over these printed pencils on art board and both are signed by Magno and both measure 11 3/4" x 16 1/2". It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!!
