Not only is the book astonishing in story and art, but so is the therapeutic quality of art in helping her come back from paralisys caused by West Nile Virus. Short story is after she lost motion in most of her body from the virus, she used drawing as an aid to get back motor skills and MFTIM was born in that effort! Glorious use of ball point pen to create these fabulous monster covers that pepper the story throughout the book. This is enormously successful sequel to the first book.
