DescriptionFirstly I need to mention that this page I bought 20 or more years ago and the front of the art page was laminated (not the back) so it does have the protective layer over the art front so think of this page as basically having permanent Mylar covering the front! :) This page is one of, if not the most KEY battle pages from this book, as This page is the "Only page" from this entire book that features Black costume Spiderman in EVERY panel, with Puma shown also! (I did sell privately a great battle page from this same Puma ASM 256-267) storyline for 35k a few years back!) It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
