Description

This original art was used for the cover of Felix And His Friends #1 (1953/Toby). This artwork is by Otto Messmer, who, along with Pat Sullivan, created Felix the Cat. The art area measures 12+1/2" X 19". It is in excellent condition. The title logo is a replacement stat, and covers a glue stain where the original title stat was pasted on. There is original art lettering for the title on the board itself underneath this, but an editorial decision was made to slightly alter the logo, so a stat was used.
