DescriptionCheck out this 1982 Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip, dated 11-27-1982. Though this strip was drawn after John Romita's run on ASM, John Romita Sr worked on strips, at times from 1981-1983 when Fred Kida or Larry Lieber were running behind schedule, and this art was purchased from John Romita's art rep in the early 1990s, and John Signed it as well for me personally, confirming he worked on it. PETER & TANA ARE CAPTURED BY THIEVES AS A SPIDER-MAN SPECTRE IS SEEN IN THE SKY. This one for me has less of a Romita feel to it even though john insisted he worked on it, so I'm pricing it accordingly. Art drawn on 16" x 7.25" art board. ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
