This key 2/3 SPLASH features THE THING and SPIDER-WOMAN getting ready to battle the 4 mystic demons called: The Brothers Four (Aero, Hydro, Fire, & Mud) in a great scene! The most important fact about this great 1977 semi-splash is that SPIDER-WOMAN appears here a full 5 MONTHS before she gets her very own title in 1978! Signed by Pablo Marcos in the art also. It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
