DescriptionCheck out this very nice SILVER AGE 1969 Superman Battle page, which was penciled by the great Curt Swan, and inked by the great George Roussos, from the story titled: "The Killer Costume!" This nice page features Superman in 4 of the 5 great panels as he uses his X-Ray vision to spot the villain known as THE DESTROYER, who uses his DEATH-TOUCH to knock Superman through a wall! Art is drawn on back of a Silver Age DC cover stock art board! Just a great opportunity here to own a great page from this GREAT title! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
