DescriptionCheck out this very cool 1997 painted cover which was FULLY PAINTED by Miran Kim, for the Caliber Press book titled The Bandy Man! This amazing occult cover painting is very similar to how the great Dave McKean creates his covers, which has the illusion of being several pieces put together. But alas this stunning visual cover is painted on 1 board and looks quite impressive! Art is painted on 10.4 by 13 inch art board! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
