Tenuta, Saverio
Saverio Tenuta is born in Rome on May14th 1969. Graduated in Painting at the “Accademia di Belle Arti” in Rome, he started working as Art engraver and commercial graphic designer. In 1993 he started his career in the Comics world working on graphic novels and covers for various italian publishers. In 1996 his work moves to the USA Comic books market, where he works for Sirius publishing, Heavy Metal magazine and DC Comics. In 2005 he returns to Europe creating as both, writer and artist, the four books series “La Légende des Nuées Écarlates” for the french market. He's also teaching comic book drawing and storytelling. He teached some lessons also at Seika University in Kyoto and Tokyo School of Design in Japan. Some of Saverio Tenuta's works have been published in Italy, France, USA, Japan, Germany, Spain and Netherlands.
