I started collecting comics in the early 70s. Bronze Age D.C. covers by Nick Cardy and artwork by Curt Swan grabbed my attention at an early age. I discovered Marvel in the mid-70s and the rest was history. I was soon a "Marvel Zombie" and developed favorites at the House of Ideas - Jack Kirby, John Romita Sr. and John Buscema.
I didn't start collecting comic artwork until I attended my first con (San Diego) in 2001. I met Romita Sr. and he did a quick Spider-Man sketch for me. Afterwards, I was hooked!
