Tan, Wilson
Long-time comic book collector since I was a kid back in the early 1980s. I got into collecting OA quite by accident after getting to know several Singapore Comic Community members in a signing event at Comics World in October 2018. I was then introduced to this exciting (expensive) hobby and they showed me the ropes. Until then, I was into CGC SS having no idea what OA was all about. I was into unique items and until then, collecting signatures was good enough for me. Not anymore! Why collect limited signed items when you can go one better, collect one-of-a-kind published OA! Since then, I've not looked back. My era of reference remains mostly the 80s-90s. My favourite artists include John Byrne (X-Men, Alpha Flight, Superman, Wonder Woman!), Todd McFarlane (McHulk & McSpidey!), Mark Bagley (Spidey!) and Curt Swan (Superman!). I mostly enjoy Star Wars, X-Men, G.I. Joe, Spider-man,Superman, Batman and varied titles from my youth. I enjoy horror genres and I especially like titles such as House of Mystery, House of Secrets, Unexpected, Ghosts, Tomb of Dracula, Werewolf by Night, Swamp Thing (Wein & Moore) and of course, Walking Dead!
