I've been collecting comics since I was 1971, I was 11 years old and my buddy told me his dad, who was the property manager of the apartment complex we lived in, found a bunch of comic books in a storage locker. The renter had moved out and left the books behind so they need to be cleared out. He ask me if I want to help clear the locker out and split the books with him... I jumped at the opportunity and that started a life long passion for collecting. I was draw to the art first and the stories later as I got a little older. By my early twenties a comic dealer introduced me to original art. I didn't know much about the industry working at the time but I knew I loved th art of comics and people like Kirby, Cockrum, Romita and Byrne were just some of the artist of the books I read and still love till this day. Over the years I've collected books and art that I like there hasn't really been a theme (other than Batman and Wonder Women) as you'll see as I add my collection to CAF.
