My collecting of Original Comic artwork began back in 1988, or thereabouts.
Being from the UK buying artwork was a bit of a challenge, by the time i got to look at an issue of CBG the artwork was normally gone.
However i made do with our very own Comic Con, UKCAC which was my yearly source of all things artwork....................damn you UKCAC, look what you did to me :)
