Grote Jr, Dave

Since 1991, Dave Grote has been a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. His clientele is a diverse array of businesses and organizations including; Craftsman Tools, Lucasfilm Ltd, 20th Century Fox, Pat Depke Books, NAPA Hand Tools, NASCAR, Cover Girl, Hampstead Business Association, Food Lion, Sears Holdings Corporation, Random House Inc., and Marvel Comics. Dave designed and illustrated his first published magazine cover for Pat Depke Books when he was fifteen years old. While attending Towson State University by day he worked as a production designer by night and later became the design department supervisor for Landmark publications for five years. Dave later joined the Danaher Tool Group as the Art Director/Graphic Designer for the next eight years. Throughout this time Dave worked as a freelance graphic designer for Graphic Technologies of Maryland; designing packaging for Cover Girl and Max Factor, Gentle Giant Studios, Ltd; designing statues and busts for the �Star Wars� line of products, and Diamond Select Toys; designing statues, busts, action figures, and packaging for the �Buffy the Vampire Slayer� and �Angel� television shows� line of products. In 2009 Dave joined his wife Rachael in her Design company Harmonized Design. Dave�s design specialties include Packaging Design, Logo Design, Fine and Digital Illustration, Photography, Conceptual Illustration, Website layout and Design, as well as Flash Design and Implementation.
