Hi,
I've been collecting comics Since approximately 1973 years and in that time picked up a few bits of art mostly at conventions in England (UK), and done the odd sketch myself.
I hope you like what you see, if I get some feedback I'll put some more up.
Sorry I do not sell any of the art shown, but i hope it highlights the work done by the artists and promotes their work. The only artwork that I would consider selling are pieces I've produced.
Most importantly my deepest thanks to artist I have on the CAF Galleries for doing this stuff.
Why I won’t sell my art…
1: The Art was always bought as a fan and collector not as a Trader (hence some of them are signed to me).
2: Sentimental reasons – Some of the pieces are bought from the artists at conventions or through friends.
3: I would feel I have betrayed the artists, who have done or sold the work, on the basis that I’m a fan who appreciates their work to sell it is a betrayal of their trust and my principles. This may actually result in reduced ability to obtain new material.
4: The Majority of the pieces were bought nearly a quarter a century ago, and I don’t think I could afford to buy these pieces today if I had to replace them.
5: I’m not holding out for a better offer, otherwise the items would be on eBay, not for sale trade / means not for sale/trade.
