From a young age I have admired the amazing images that spring from the pages of comic books. Vibrant, dynamic and beautiful in their own right, comic character art has become one of the major passions and influences within my own creative pursuits. I think it is the escapism of the storytelling and the limitless potential of what is possible that provides the gravitational pull of this medium.
Most of what I have learnt as an artist has been self-taught, using other artists and observation as key elements in generating a signature style of my own and focusing on the natural beauty of the human form to inform my development in terms of anatomy and composition.
