Dan's Genre art collection

As much as I dearly love superhero comics, it has always been the horror and war books that resonate more strongly with me. I blame a camp out in 1977 (which became an annual tradition among my circle of friends), and the stack of DC comics that we read by lantern and campfire light. Weird War Tales, House of Secrets, Ghosts-there are covers and pages from these titles that instantly transport me back to being 10 years old, with a tight knit group of friends, camping out for the weekend, walking to the general store for packs of Star Wars cards, and not having a care in the world.
